Staff: We currently employ 8 staff. The team is led by our Supervisor, Keran who is assisted by her deputy, Theresa. We have 5 other practitioners, most of whom hold a child care qualification. We also employ an administrator. All our staff are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education to each and every child who joins us at Pre-school. We operate a key worker system so that each pratitioner is assigned to 3 or 4 children. This enables them to get to know each individual child and their family, and ensures that we can get to know each childs likes and dislikes, and any particular interests which can be incorporated into our curriculum. Committee: As we are a charity, we are run by a voluntary Management Comimittee. This is headed by a chairperson with the help of a treasurer, secretary, and 9 other parents. They are all elected annually at our AGM which is normally held in September. Not only are they responsible for the fund raising, but are also responsible to make any decisions regarding the running of pre-school. |
